DESCRIPTION:The Missouri National Archery in the Schools (MoNASP) State Archery Tournament\, hosted by the Missouri Department of Conservation and the Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation\, is the state’s archery championship. Students from all across the state in grades 4-12 attend qualifying tournaments three months before the state tournament to get the best score they can in order to qualify to go to state. It is the second largest state archery tournament in the nation. In 2019\, more than 3\,330 students competed in the tournament with over 14\,000 spectators supporting them. \nPrice to attend (as a spectator): \n$10/day/adult | $3/day/child (ages 5-11) | Children 4 and under are free.

SUMMARY:Branson's Annual Adoration Parade
DESCRIPTION:As we look forward to the 2020 holiday season approaching\, this is the time of year to remember the true meaning of Christmas. Seventy-two Christmases ago\, two Ozarks men spent their lunch designing a lasting tribute to the Jesus Christ. Those simple plans sketched on a napkin by businessman Joe Todd and artist Steve Miller would soon turn into one of the area’s most lasting holiday scenes: a large Nativity display adorning the bluffs of Mount Branson and Lake Taneycomo. The 28-foot-tall nativity scene\, refurbished to its original glory in 2012\, can be seen from miles away and has become a symbol of Christmas in the Ozarks. Each year at dusk on the first Sunday in December the iconic nativity scene is lit\, followed by the annual Adoration Parade that truly kicks off the Ozark Mountain Christmas season in Branson. The 72nd annual Adoration Parade and Lighting Ceremony will take place Dec. 6\, 2020. The time-honor event will begin at 5:00 p.m. with the lighting of the Adoration Nativity Scene and pre-parade activities and entertainment. The Branson Adoration Parade will feature performances by local high school marching bands\, floats created by a multitude of area churches and organizations\, as well as an appearance by Santa Claus. Beginning at the Branson Convention Center’s south parking lot\, the parade will wind its way through Historic Downtown Branson and can be best viewed along Commercial Street.

SUMMARY:2020 Crappie Expo & Mr. Crappie $200K Invitational Crappie Classic Tournament
DESCRIPTION:This exciting 2020 event will feature boat and tackle manufacturers showing and selling their products\, tackle dealers offering the latest and greatest fishing gear\, expert instruction from top fishing pros\, daily music concerts\, the World’s Largest Crappie Fry and the sport’s most prestigious tournament. There will also be a drawing for a free Ranger boat. \nThe World’s Largest Crappie Fry will be on Saturday\, October 31\, starting at 11 a.m. Fish Fry Tickets tickets will be handed out at the Crappie Expo on Saturday. The fresh fried crappie\, hushpuppies and taters will be given away until supply runs out. \nThere will be over 100 vendors from all around the nation present at the expo\, and the sport’s best of the best competing in the tournament (itnerary below). \nThursday\, October 29: \n7 a.m. 100 teams will take off from the State Park Marina on Table Rock Lake. \n3 p.m. there will be a weigh-in at the State Park Marina weigh-in site. The 100 teams will be cut to 50 teams to compete on October 30. \nFriday\, October 30: \n7 a.m. 50 teams will take off from the State Park Marina and fish till 2 p.m. \nThe weigh-in will be held at the Crappie Expo in the Branson Convention Center on stage. \nTeams will be cut to the top 25 teams for the Mr. Crappie Invitational Championship on Saturday. \nSaturday October 31: \nSaturday = final day of the tournament \nTop 25 teams will take off at 7 a.m. from the State Park Marina on Table Rock lake. \nThe championship weigh-in will be held at 3 p.m. at the Branson Convention Center to crown the winner of the largest crappie tournament payout in crappie fishing history.

Gump costumes are highly recommended! Each runner will receive their race swag in a custom box (looks like a box of chocolates) with the race booklet full of local deals. There will be awesome photo opportunities\, Forrest Gump face cut-outs\, Forrest Gump bench\, etc. All finishers will receive one of our custom designed Forrest Gump themed medals.
