Sandpiper Landing Inn Pet Policy
Thank you for choosing the Sandpiper Landing Inn for your stay with your pet(s). We are committed to providing a comfortable, enjoyable, and safe experience for both you and your pet. To ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests, we ask that you adhere to the following pet policies:
- 1. Dog Fee: A dog fee of $25 per night is required, covering the cost of deep cleaning. This fee will be charged to your account upon check-in. A credit card number must be on file for your dog(s) to stay on the property. You will be charged for any additional cleaning or damage caused by your dog(s).
- Acceptable Pets: We welcome well-mannered, house-trained dogs up to 45 pounds. A maximum of two dogs are allowed per room. Sandpiper Landing Inn reserves the right to remove guests whose dogs display dangerous or disruptive behavior, including but not limited to excessive barking or evidence of disease with no refund for the remaining nights of stay.
- Vaccinations & Flea/Tick Prevention: Dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations and be on flea/tick preventive treatment. You may be asked to provide current vaccination records from a licensed veterinarian.
- Leashes & Restraints: Dogs must be on a leash or otherwise restrained while in public spaces on the property. (In adherence to the City of Branson code)
- Supervision: Dogs must always be supervised while in the hotel or on the property.
- Dog-Friendly Areas: Dogs are not permitted in the office, pool, or surrounding fenced pool area. (In adherence to the State of Missouri code) Dogs may only be walked in designated areas on the property. Epps Park is located one block away.
- Dog Waste Clean-Up: Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. (In adherence to the City of Branson code) A fee will be charged if dog waste is not cleaned up. Any accident must be reported to the front desk.
- Damage & Liability: Guests are responsible for all damage and personal injuries caused by their dogs. A post-departure inspection will be conducted, and any damages will be charged to the guest’s account.
- Dog-Approved Rooms: Reserved rooms must be pre-approved for your dog. If you fail to disclose your dog at check-in, you will incur $35 per night fee and/or possibly be evicted immediately with no refund for the remaining nights.
- Contact Information: A valid cell number must be provided. If we need to contact you due to your dog’s behavior (e.g., excessive barking), you must return immediately to remedy the situation. Failure to do so may result in eviction from the property with no refund for your remaining nights.
- Crating: If you must leave your dog unattended in your room, they should be crated. Excessive barking or distress will not be tolerated.
- Breed Restrictions: Certain breeds may not be permitted. Please confirm breed approval prior to arrival. (Breeds that are not allowed are those considered too high risk by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners) Also any dog with a bite history is not allowed.
- Release & Indemnification: By agreeing to these terms, you release and indemnify Sandpiper Landing Inn and its owners from all claims related to your pet’s stay, including claims by third parties.
