Titanic Museum Attraction going All-Pink in Support of the 2020 International Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign. Rare Pink Pumpkins to add a new element of surprise this year! This year, Titanic's iconic, marching pink flamingos and giant, ship-mounted, 15 ft. pink ribbon will be joined by a crop of real pink pumpkins in calling attention to the 2020 Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign action at the Titanic Museum Attraction, announces Mary Kellogg, President, COO & Co-Owner of Titanic Pigeon Forge. In addition to being the colorful, feathered mascots of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Hot Pink Flamingos you'll see parading the grassy knoll in front of Titanic Branson will also serve as honor guards for 44 people who survived Titanic but were later claimed by cancer – six were victims of breast cancer. Branson Veterans Events & Reunions has moved their Annual Sporting Clays Shoot this year at Ozark Shooters Sports Complex to October 18, 2020. Registration begins at 1PM. The cost is $70.00; fees include 100 sporting clays, lunch, and entry for door prizes. Door prizes provided by local sponsors and businesses. Shooters will furnish their own shells; gun rental is available at Ozarks Shooters Sports Complex. Scoring is by Lewis Class. Trophies given for 1st and 2nd place in each flight. Categories for veterans and non-veterans. We invite all shooters over the age of 18 to participate. The proceeds from the shoot will go to benefit veterans and their families. 6th Annual Trout Team Tournament -Lake Taneycomo
This exciting 2020 event will feature boat and tackle manufacturers showing and selling their products, tackle dealers offering the latest and greatest fishing gear, expert instruction from top fishing pros, daily music concerts, the World's Largest Crappie Fry and the sport's most prestigious tournament. There will also be a drawing for a free Ranger boat. The World's Largest Crappie Fry will be on Saturday, October 31, starting at 11 a.m. Fish Fry Tickets tickets will be handed out at the Crappie Expo on Saturday. The fresh fried crappie, hushpuppies and taters will be given away until supply runs out. There will be over 100 vendors from all around the nation present at the expo, and the sport's best of the best competing in the tournament (itnerary below). Thursday, October 29: 7 a.m. 100 teams will take off from the State Park Marina on Table Rock Lake. 3 p.m. there will be a weigh-in at the State Park Marina weigh-in site. The 100 teams will be cut to 50 teams to compete on October 30. Friday, October 30: 7 a.m. 50 teams will take off from the State Park Marina and fish till 2 p.m. The weigh-in will be held at the Crappie Expo in the Branson Convention Center on stage. Teams will be cut to the top 25 teams for the Mr. Crappie Invitational Championship on Saturday. Saturday October 31: Saturday = final day of the tournament Top 25 teams will take off at 7 a.m. from the State Park Marina on Table Rock lake. The championship weigh-in will be held at 3 p.m. at the Branson Convention Center to crown the winner of the largest crappie tournament payout in crappie fishing history.
